The Bell-Mark EasyPrints utilize patented Fading, Retraction and Column Ribbon Saving technology. Savings of up to 80% on the original ribbon usage can be achieved. Bell-Mark EasyPrints are electronically controlled and an operator can easily enter the desired ribbon saving percentage.

FADING

Fading technology (pictured below) allows full size characters to be printed onto the substrate, while only using a portion of the ribbon to create the images.

The actual print retains its size and quality, while the impression on the ribbon is considerably reduced resulting in a measurable cost reduction.

RETRACTION

Retraction technology (pictured below) allows the printers printhead to set impressions close together on the ribbon, but at another printed position on the actual substrate. This method allows maximum utilization of the ribbon, which will result in a measurable cost reduction.

COLUMN

Column technology (pictured below) is designed to utilize the full width of the actual ribbon. When printing single lines, it is often possible to employ the column system and utilize both the width and the length of the ribbon.

The method will result in a considerable ribbon saving which will produce a measurable cost reduction.
