- Large print-plate / recipe database facilitates quick & easy print plate change-over and minimizes setup. Saves your plates name, inking and impression roll positions, along with print plate length, registration position and printing statistics.
- NO manual adjustment knobs. Changes to ink, impression and registration roll positions are set through repeatable and validatable numeric settings stored in the FlexPrint R’s internal database. Adjustment range is limited by the internal print controller.
- Print-to-package registration position is automatically recalled from the database and adjusts the motorized registration-roll position when changing the print plate. Operator error and product scrap is greatly reduced as a result.
- Precise servo control of all drive rollers. With AC servomotors driving the impression roller and print plate cylinder, excess web tension is eliminated, achieving enhanced print registration on thinner web material.
- The ink fountain is located away from the web-feed side of the printer allowing for quick & easy access during cleaning or maintenance. A real-time low ink level sensor alerts the operator before a low ink level affects print quality.
- Quick change doctor blade assembly. The low-pressure doctor blade assembly reduces blade wear. A worn blade alarm further increases productivity. The anilox roll is easily removed for cleaning or replacement.
- No air supply, no exhaust necessary.
- No external control box. All printer controls are contained in the printer itself. The FlexPrint R is capable of running with minimal host interface signals, allowing for quick & easy retro-fits and upgrades.
- Viewable on-screen I/O quickly pinpoints communication issues, reducing troubleshooting & downtime.
- Remote operator screen. Utilizing current web-server technology, the FlexPrint R touch screen can be controlled from a remote (host machine interface) HMI.
- Future integration of the electrical interface between the FlexPrint R and Bell-Mark thermal or inkjet printers will allow for a single control point for an entire printing system.
- On-the fly, dual printer registration. Utilizing internal print controller capabilities, the FlexPrint R supports automatic registration of a second printer.
